Sweet, genuine, honest, pure, fun….these are some ways to describe the Waters Family, and I’m so happy that their family portraits captured all of these things. I went to high school with Ben and Beth, and they are a laid-back couple who love playing music and reading with their adorable girls. I hope you enjoy their portraits and slideshow, shot at one of my favorite locations–Furman University in Greenville SC. The day of their session, Beth called me concerned because we scheduled the session too late to have any fall leaves. I simply responded that while the leaves would have been beautiful, the most important part of these photos would be to capture her girls’ expressions, energy, and emotions. I think we did just that….
Sweet Dot is such a happy baby!
Big sis Caldwell is a smart girl with the cutest smile and kindest personality…
These two sisters just LOVE each other!
Seriously, how can you not love these little faces??
Beth is such a good mama to her girlies! All this laughter just makes me happy.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. *sigh*
Caldwell doing some ballerina twirls, and lovin on daddy.
Sweet Dot is named after two of her great-grandmothers. Here is a photo of one of them!
And finally, for your daily dose of ridiculous cuteness. I just want to squeeze her!! Thanks Pinterest for the inspiration for this image. 🙂
Ben and Beth, you guys have a truly special family. I am so glad I had the chance to fiiiiiiiiinally photograph you all. 🙂 I hope you love these portraits as much as I do!
The Major Family is majorly fun…and majorly cute….and majorly full of spunk! I have been photographing these friends for years, and this session was special because baby brother got to be a part of the fun for the first time. (He was te-niny when I did his newborn photos.) I loved seeing everyone’s personalities come out in these portraits, and Em definitely wins the award for most enthusiastic this time! She was all about it this time around–yay! I love this sweet family, and I hope you all love their portraits….be sure to check out the video slideshow and proof gallery at the end.
A favorite, for sure!
Lauren is girlie and loves ballet….Emily is spunky and loves nature….Baby T is all smiles and loves goldfish crackers. 🙂
Loooooove his baby blues.
Crawling is serious business.
Chris and Jessica, y’all are a beautiful couple!
I saved my super-favorite for last. I just love this one…
Jessica and Chris, thank you for making me your family’s photographer over the years in addition to your friend. You have a sweet and special family.
There are a few things my clients do that really let me know I’ve done a great job as their photographer: happy, sentimental tears; telling me that I truly captured them or their child “as they are;” referring their friends and family to me; and calling me year after year to photograph their family again. When any of these things happen, I feel so much satisfaction and contentment with the gift that I’ve provided to a family. This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve photographed the Davis Family’s portraits over the past 6 years, and we’ve become friends over those years. I love seeing how their kids grow and change from year to year, and how their family enjoys being together. We met at Furman University in Greenville SC on a beautiful fall day for the latest installment in their family portraits….I hope you will enjoy! Their proof gallery and video slideshow are at the end. Davises–thanks so much for always asking me back! 🙂
The first time I photographed the Davis Family, it was Colin’s 1-year portraits…..he’s 7 now!
I can’t say enough about how kind and patient and gracious the Pooles are! They were so much fun during their portrait session…so much fun that I don’t think Mr. J even knew we were there for family portraits! 🙂 Mom sent me the nicest email after our session, and that just made my day. Family portraits have the potential to be stressful, but I always hope that they become a fun time for families to laugh and hug and play together….and this one was exactly that! Enjoy the Pooles’ family portraits and be sure to watch their cute video slideshow at the end!
J. having fun running through the fall leaves…
Check out his GORGEOUS blue eyes!
This makes me giggle. 🙂
So does this one…I’ve entitled it “Parenthood.” Mom and Dad are all smiles, cuddled up together, and J. is jumping off dad’s back. Hehe!
This is a favorite…
…and so is this one!
Too cute mom and dad!
Pooles, I am so glad I had the chance to meet you 3! It was tons of fun, and I hope you enjoy your fall family portraits!
