Introducing Amy Clifton Keely Photography | Welcome to the New Site!

Posted

I am so incredibly excited to announce the official launch of the new Amy Clifton Keely Photography–a new name, a new logo, a new website, a re-newed sense of joy and excitement for photographing your moments! In the past year+ I have married my sweet Mr. K and gotten myself a new name…so my photography business needed to follow! While I am still that same girl portrayed in my “old” website, I have a new perspective on life as a bride and a wife. I wanted this logo, this website, this BRAND to match who I am now, so I welcome you to Amy Clifton Keely Photography! I hope that you will take the time to explore all the new galleries, the testimonials, the “About” pages of my website. I hope that you will “like” me on facebook–you can click the facebook button at the bottom of any webpage to like my business fb page, and you can “like” any individual blog post as well to share it on your wall. Thank you for your love and support of me, of the Keelys, and of my adventures in photography. I am grateful.

And because, of course, every post needs a photo, I share this one with you from Michelle and Rich’s recent Greenville SC wedding…

My husband is a happy guy. My favorite photos of us show us laughing together. He makes me happy, and he just has this way about him that makes everyone feel comfortable. On our wedding day, however, he had this different smile, this different glow of happiness. It was so cute, and I even commented to him after our “First Look” that I’d never seen him so smiley! This photo of Rich and Michelle reminds me of that look on Tony’s face–pure, unedited joy. Always–ALWAYS–when I am behind the camera, my most important goal is to capture “you” as you really are and to preserve so much emotion that you feel it all over again when you view your photos.

Again, WELCOME and THANK YOU!

As always, I love it when you leave a comment below to “show us some love!”

Baby Ensley, 9 days old | Greenville SC Newborn Photographer

Posted

Sweet Miss Ensley was wiiiiiiide awake during her newborn portraits on her 9th day. I couldn’t believe how alert she was and how much she loved looking around and following my camera! She’s going to be beautiful AND smart, just like her big sisters! As with all of my newborn portraits, I loved photographing Ensley in her first home amongst the people who adore her the most and in the rooms where she will laugh and play and learn and love as she grows up.

Enjoy Ensley’s sweet slideshow below, and CLICK HERE if you would like to view her proof gallery. (Password is her mommy’s maiden name.) As always, please click the comments below if you’d like to leave a message for Ensley, her family, or me to “show us some love!”

Angela and Vernon, thank you so much for choosing me to capture this special time in the life of your family. You guys are blessed!

–Amy

Cale, Class of 2013 | Greenville SC Senior Portrait Photographer

Posted

When I was a senior in high school, I remember watching The Graduate in AP English. I loved the poetry of the Simon & Garfunkel soundtrack, and I could relate to Dustin Hoffman’s uncertainty over his future (“Plastics!”). Cale reminds me of those times….he is artistic, deep, full of ideas, and connected to the poetry and beauty and confusion of life. His session reminds me of why I love photographing Senior Portraits so much.

Jim & Sara are Married! | Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

Posted

Blue skies, gorgeous fall sunshine, bouquets full of life, and friends and family who traveled down the east coast to see this bride and this groom. Everyone was watching as these two, who first laid eyes on each other at the gym….or a restaurant (depending on whose version of the story you hear), became husband and wife. On the day when all eyes were on the girl who dislikes being the center of attention, you could tell that she was only concerned with one pair of eyes that watched her round the corner and walk towards him. Her face lit up when their eyes met, and he couldn’t hold back the smile as she made her way down the aisle, escorted by their two little nephews.

Jim and Sara held their wedding at the Larkins courtyard in Greenville, SC, and you can tell that in each other’s eyes is where they find their strength, their peace, their laughter, their forever.

See for yourself: Jim and Sara’s wedding proof gallery is located HERE. Password is their last name.

But before you click away to their gallery, watch their slideshow below, and soak in the moments that they shared as they became husband and wife.

The Trammell Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer

Posted

Family is so important. The relationships between parents and their children, siblings, husbands and wives, grandparents and their precious grandchildren–this is what life is made of. These relationships help to make us who we are, and they are what we come back to throughout our entire lives. The Trammells are three generations of laughter and love, and it was an honor to photograph them while everyone was gathered in one place during the Thanksgiving holidays. I used to work with Jessica when our lives were much different, and it was great to reconnect with her now that we are both wives and she’s a new mommy.
