Generations Portrait Session | 50th Anniversary in Greenville SC

Posted

You guys know how much I love photographing a generations portrait session, right? It is so special to have your entire extended family together, and unfortunately in these days it’s pretty rare! The Palmers celebrated their 50th anniversary here in Greenville SC, and we gathered for family portraits prior to their party. It was so sweet to see the love and joy these two have for one another and for the family they created. My goal with a generations portrait session is to capture all the many relationships and interactions between family members. I loved how much everyone loved laughing together and celebrating these family bonds.

Introducing….the Palmers’ 50th Anniversary Portrait Session

Still snuggling and laughing after 50 years; I’d say that’s a wonderful example of marriage!

LOVE. How perfectly sweet is this little moment?

The whole family

Little in-between moments are so fun to zoom in on.

There’s no love like grandparent love! I think this crew loves each other just a bit.

The Originals 🙂

Extended Family Portrait Sessions are the perfect time to update individual family photos too! I always make it a point to photograph each “sub-family,” including kids alone and parents alone. While everyone is already dressed up and cooperating, let’s make it happen!

These sweet hands have held each other…their babies…their grandbabies…and so much love and life. Happy 50th Anniversary to you, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer! Here’s to many, many more yet to come!
