The Sleight Family Portraits at Paris Mountain | Greenville, SC Family Photographer

Cute, cute, cute! This fun family has got the cutest kids with the most gorgeous eyes! I met the Sleight family–grandparents, their grown kids and spouses, and three energetic blond grandchildren–at Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville SC for their extended family portraits. I had forgotten how much I love photographing families at this park; it’s a beautiful, rustic, and laid-back location. Enjoy these sweet portraits!

It was no easy task getting a sibling photo of these two cuties, but I LOVE this one!!

Emily’s Furman University Bridal Portraits | Greenville SC Wedding Photographer

Emily is a Furman grad, and she had always dreamed of having her bridal portraits photographed on the university’s beautiful campus. I tell you, I don’t think it’s possible for me to get tired of shooting portraits at Furman! There are beautiful locations and gorgeous light every where you turn. Having a lovely bride, an elegant gown from Carolina Bride and Groom, and a sweetly Southern bouquet from Twigs sure doesn’t hurt either! The Sills’ Magical Maternity Snow Session | Greenville SC Maternity Photographer

This sweet couple, preparing to meet their baby girl this summer, reminded me of why I love being a maternity photographer! There is such magic in the anticipation, the love that creates a family, and the beauty of this time in a couple’s life. Add in glowing late-afternoon light and a trip into the snowy woods during a rare Greenville SC snow storm, and you have a dreamy portrait session filled with magical moments. This sweet couple, Lindsey and Scott, are the kind of people who you just know are all kinds of good. They are fun and kind with each other, they give generously, and they bring out the best in one another and those around them. From the moment we started talking, they just inspired me to give more freely, and I am absolutely certain they will bring out that kind of good in their baby girl.

Snow Day Family Portraits! | Greenville SC Family Photographer

We don’t see much snow here in Greenville South Carolina, so everyone is making the most of our Snow Day and “Snowpocalypse 2014!” Our neighbors asked me to photograph some family portraits for them during the snow “event”–yay! It made my camera happy to shoot them in this gorgeous snow storm, and it made my heart happy because these are their FIRST family portraits ever. I love being able to document the love and fun between family members, and knowing that this is the first time that’s been captured for a family makes it even more special. Frank, Leigh, and Gracie are such great neighbors. Tony and I may not live in the fanciest house in the most exclusive neighborhood, but our little street sure does look out for one another, and that’s pretty awesome these days!

McGrath Family 50th Anniversary Portraits | Downtown Greenville SC Family Photographer

My grandparents were married 65 years, my parents are about to hit 42 years, and Tony and I have been married for a whopping 19 months. It was so special for me to be the McGraths’ family photographer for their 50th anniversary celebration in Downtown Greenville SC. Marriage is a wild and crazy and wonderful ride, and it is such a gift for a family to have the influence of parents and grandparents with long, successful marriages. To celebrate their parents’ 50th anniversary just before Christmas, the McGraths planned a whole afternoon of surprises, including a sleigh ride with Santa himself, dinner out, and a surprise family portrait session. What better way to celebrate this milestone for their family than with new memories and the photographs to preserve them?
